Simple, Nutritious Meals for a Busy Family

As a busy working mother feeding a family of six, keeping meals both tasty and nutritious can sometimes feel like a challenge. Simplicity is key, and I’m always on the lookout for recipes that are easy to prepare, use everyday ingredients, and—most importantly—are loved by the whole family!
Recently, I discovered my new favourite cookbook (thanks, Mum!): RecipeTin Eats: Dinner by Nagi Maehashi. This book has been a game-changer in my kitchen, packed with recipes that align with the ingredients I already have in my pantry. Plus, a huge bonus—my kids actually love the meals!
One dish that has been on repeat in our household is the Chicken Shawarma (check it out on page 46!) or find the full recipe here. It’s full of flavour, simple to prepare, and a definite crowd-pleaser.
The Link Between Food, Digestion & Your Spine
While we all know that what we eat plays a crucial role in digestive health, did you know that your spine also has a significant impact? Your nervous system, which runs through your spine, is directly linked to your digestive function. When your spine is in alignment, communication between your brain and gut is optimised, leading to better digestion and overall well-being.
If you're curious to learn more about this fascinating connection, check out my blog post here: The Connection Between Digestion and Spinal Health.
